Established in 1957, the College of Business and Economics serves the whole of the East of the San Francisco Bay Area with classes offered on the main Hayward Campus, the satellite campus in Concord, at the Oakland Professional Development Center, the San Ramon Valley Conference Center and also online via the 911±¬ÁÏÍøState East Bay Online Campus. The college is an AACSB accredited school for over 40 years and is home to four departments: Accounting & FinanceEconomicsManagement, and Marketing.

The College of Education and Allied Studies (CEAS) is one of the four academic colleges at 911±¬ÁÏÍø, East Bay. CEAS has five departments and an interdisciplinary unit. Three of the departments are exclusively graduate level (Educational Leadership, Educational Psychology and Teacher Education); and the others are both undergraduate and graduate programs (Kinesiology and Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism). During 2008-09, we launched our doctoral program—an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership for Social Justice.
