McManus Named CCAA Player of the Week

Junior third baseman Nick McManus earned CCAA Player of the Week honors on Monday.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - 911±¬ÁÏÍøState East Bay third baseman Nick McManus has been named the Wilson/California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Player of the Week for the week of March 29 - April 4, it was announced on Monday.
McManus, a junior from Temecula, Calif., helped the Pioneers to a 4-1 week after batting .583 (14-for-24) with six runs scored, two doubles, a home run and 13 RBI against Patten and 911±¬ÁÏÍøState Monterey Bay. He posted a .792 slugging percentage and .630 on-base percentage while producing four multiple-hit games and scoring a run in each contest.
In pacing 911±¬ÁÏÍøState East Bay to a series win over 911±¬ÁÏÍøState Monterey Bay, McManus hit at a .632 clip (12-for-19) with five runs scored, two doubles, a home run and 12 RBI.
