PROGRAM CURRICULUM
The program provides a strong intellectual core and allows for specialization through research and projects. The graduate program is 30-semester units, ten (10) courses, each three (3) units. Each course is offered once a year, either in the Fall or Spring semester. The courses are eight (8) weeks in length (includes finals week).
Taking 2-3 courses per semester allows a student to progress through the ten (10) courses in four (4) semesters or two (2) years. It will take longer to complete the program for students who elect to take fewer courses per semester to accommodate work schedules and other obligations.
NOTE: The degree must be completed within five (5) years with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a grade of “B” or better in each course.
The following table includes examples of road maps for completing the degree in two (2) years or four (4) years.
