Telephone screening and referrals for people needing psychotherapists and psychiatrists accepting sliding scale or Medi-Cal; also for people with chronic mental illness needing admittance to an Alameda County community mental health center.

For Medi-911±¬ÁÏÍøand Medi-Cal/Medicare (Medi-Medi) Insured:
- Call Alameda County ACCESS: Dial (800) 491-9099 to request a referral to Pathways to Wellness.
- Referral Processing: Alameda County ACCESS will fax a referral letter to their Intake Department within 24-48 hours.
- Schedule Your Appointment: Once you have the referral, call them at (800) 975-PATH (7284) to schedule your first appointment.
Please note that they need authorization for services from Alameda County before any Medi-Cal-insured patient can be seen in their clinics.
