Faculty Resources for Information Literacy Assessment for 2024-2025
For 2024-25, information literacy is being assessed in upper division GE courses which have an information literacy course characteristic. Faculty are provided a signature assignment, often used in GE across disciplines to help students reflect on their learning related to a core competency. The signature assignment follows a faculty assignment asking students to search for and examine different sources of information (e.g. start of a term paper, annotated bibliography, biography, research, literature review, other).
